I’m trying to put together a series of programs about the Aquifer and Water Quality for the fall. I’m trying to line up a caving trip to end the program. This should be very fun and I know it supports the school science curriculum for several grades including 3rd. Please let me know if you have expertise you can share with the group.

I’d like to have a meeting Friday 9/8 6:30 PM at the Rollingwood Pool.  The agenda for the meeting will be:

• Hands on Science (Kids)
  • using sponges to see how fluid travels in a porous solid (k-5)
  • rain fall models (3-5)
  • condensation experiments (3-5)
• Organizational meeting (Parents)
  • discuss splitting the group into K-2 and 3-5 teams
  • discuss best meeting times
  • discuss topics for next meetings including caving trip
• Plan for Rocket Launch

I’m continuing to organize the Science Lab this Friday from 7:30 to 8:30.  Please stop by if you have the time.
