Principal Acosta and I have coordinated a Science Lab Clean-up day for Saturday 9/13 from 9 to Noon. Mrs Acosta will be there so this will be a fun time to work with her. This is a service project so parents and students should come prepared to help sort materials, haul boxes, and build shelves.
We will provide refreshments.BONUS: Rob will be running some science demos for students who attend.
Note: No Ike - Yes Cleanup!

We’re going to have a rocket launch on Friday 9/5 starting 6 PM at the Rollingwood Baseball Fields (Rollingwood Drive by the Pool).
Rocket kits (both ready-to-fly and you build it) are available from Hobby Town (near Strait Music), Hobby Lobby (near Toys-R-Us) , and other fine purveyors of science products. You should write your cell # on your rockets. I only plan for a rocket to last 3 launches so invest your time/money appropriately. I have lots of left over rockets from the world record setting Troop 990 launch. They need minor repairs but are free to a good home if you want one.
REMEMBER TO BUY EXTRA ENGINES for your rockets. I try to have extras (usally $1/each) but can make any promised.
